November 29, 2022: the Black Sea Regatta was held in Krasnodar Krai, Russia on November 23-28, 2022. About 240 athletes competed in the 470, the 420, the Laser Standard, the Laser Radial, the Laser 4.7, the 49er, the Nacra 17, the 29er, QFoil, and Techno categories.
Throughout the entire duration of the tournament, the wind was both swinging and not strong enough, so a number of races were postponed or even cancelled. However, despite the difficult weather conditions, Alisa Yeschenko, who is a trainee of Taganrog, won a bronze medal in the Laser Radial category.
We congratulate Alisa Yeschenko and her coach Vadim Mekhanikov and wish them every success in their further career, as well as new victories and major achievements.
In May 2022, she finished
third at the 2022 Open Sailing Cup of Belarus. In August 2022 Alisa Yeschenko won the main trophy in the Olympic class of the Laser Radial at
the 2022 Russian Sailing Cup, and most recently won bronze at
the 2022 Russian Olympic Sailing Cup.
