October 1, 2011 within the framework of the
22nd Assembly of the IBSC the city of Azov hosted the 9th Meeting of the Non-Commercial Entrepreneurship Development Partnership "International Black Sea Club Business Council" (IBSC Business Council).
Ten chambers of commerce from the Black Sea area, representing cities in Russia, Ukraine, Abkhazia and Transnistria attended the meeting.
On the agenda were current problems and the prospects of
IBSC Business Council. The participants of the meeting reached a preliminary agreement to hold the forum of companies who are members of the chambers affiliated with IBSC Business Council in April- May 2012 in the city of Taganrog. The chamber of commerce and industry of Novocherkassk, Rostov Oblast, Russia was admitted into members of the IBSC Business Council.
Among the most important issues of the meeting were the elections of the board of the Business Council. Mr. Alexander Amerkhanov, President of the
Taganrog Interregional Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TICCI) was reelected as the Chairman of the IBSC Business Council for the next three years.
During the 9th meeting of the International Black Sea Club Business Council, the chambers of Commerce of Tuapse (Russia) and Kherson (Ukraine) signed a bilateral agreement on cooperation.
