The works of young artists from Taganrog reflect their perception of people's lives during the Great Patriotic War, including such aspects as the siege of Leningrad, various military operations, activities of homefront workers, heroic deeds of the Red Army soldiers, life in the occupied territories, and the joy of soldiers returning home. As part of the exhibitions, the drawings will be accompanied by information and photographs on the history of Taganrog during the war years.

The memory of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War is one of the cornerstones of Russian and post-Soviet social consciousness and a unifying factor regardless of nationality and political views.
