April 14, 2022: Rostov Oblast Government and Tourism.RF Corporation signed a cooperation agreement. It was endorsed by Governor Vasily Golubev and CEO of Turism.RF Corp. Sergey Sukhanov. The signing ceremony was held in Moscow with the participation of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.


The parties have agreed to develop tourism infrastructure in Rostov Oblast, to further increase the tourist flow and insure the region's sustainable social and economic development. In the near future a brand new tourism complex "Priazovye" is planned to be established in the city of Taganrog.

"There are many sites in Don Region that people love to visit. One of such places is Taganrog, where since last year we've been working on Taganrog's urban revitalization program and integrated development of Taganrog as a tourist destination. We will be creating the conditions to attract more tourists from other regions", - commented Rostov Oblast Governor Vasily Golubev.


"This is a project of large dimensions, and we are glad Don Region joined it. Russians know Rostov Oblast's southern skies - the river Don, Azov Sea. Rostov Oblast presented five sightseeing areas, and we are already working on the development of Taganrog project. As it is known, the city was taken under wing of Chairwoman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko. We expect the tourist flow to at least double", - highlighted CEO of Turism.RF Corp. Sergey Sukhanov.
